Meningkatkan Kemampuan Guru dalam Menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran Berbasis Saintifik melalui Pembinaan Kolaboratif bagi Guru SMP Negeri 6 Mataram Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018

Abstract

The purpose of this school action research is to determine the increase in the ability of teachers to plan the implementation of scientific-based learning through collaborative coaching for teachers of SMP Negeri 6 Mataram even semester of the 2017/2018 academic year. The subjects of this school action research were all subject teachers, especially civil servants at SMP Negeri 6 Mataram. The number of research subjects was 40 teachers, with details of 13 male and 27 female. The results showed that increasing the ability of teachers in preparing scientific-based lesson plans could be improved through collaborative coaching. It is proven that after being given action in cycle II, the teacher's ability in preparing scientific-based lesson plans can be said to be optimal. Of the 40 total teachers who had completed in the sense that they were able to prepare lesson plans with the scientific approach correctly, 37 were teachers or 92.5%. Meanwhile, 3 teachers or 7.5% have not yet completed. In general, the implementation of cycle II went according to plan and was more effective than cycle I. Collaborative coaching activities ran smoothly. The results of observations on teacher activities during the second cycle of action, the teacher is more serious in following coaching, the teacher has more initiative to work, the teacher has more courage to argue, the teacher is more courageous in providing positive input regarding the preparation of lesson plans, the teacher is more active in discussions. This happens because in cycle II the teacher is given the opportunity to make presentations so that the teacher's ability is optimally explored. With collaborative coaching, all teachers of SMP Negeri 6 Mataram have increased their ability and willingness to prepare scientific-based lesson plans.
