Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Matematika melalui Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw di Kelas VIII.4 SMPN 1 Keruak

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research is carried out by applying the Jigsaw Cooperative Learning Model in order to improve the quality of the learning process and is a concept of learning activities that help teachers in implementing Mathematics learning activities that help by using games that improve daily life. With this concept, learning outcomes are expected to be more for students. The learning process takes place naturally in the form of student work and improvement activities, not transferring knowledge from teacher to student. The quality of learning is more important than results. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted with the aim to study the Improvement of Mathematics Learning Achievement through the Jigsaw Type Cooperative Learning Model in Class VIII.4 Students of SMP Negeri 1 Keruak in the 2019/2020 Academic Year. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) was carried out in cycle 2, and from the results of the actions taken it was proven to be able to improve student achievement both in terms of completeness of student learning in cycle I by 68%, which could be increased to 100% in cycle II. This class action research also shows an increase in the level of student learning activities from 3.1 Active Enough categories in the first cycle to 4.1 Active categories, meaning there is an increase of 10.
