Evaluasi Minat Baca Siswa melalui Program Literasi Sekolah

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate student reading interest through the school literacy program at gondrong state elementary. Which includes: (1) context: GLS purpose and students' needs; (2) input: student activity and infrastructure; (3) process; Contributing factors and obstacles; (4) product: interest in reading and activity of students. This study is a evaluative study with a fundamental model and USES a qualitative descriptive approach. The subject is class teachers, and class 2c students. The object in this study is teachers and long-haired elementary students who are especially 2c 3 students. The method of data-collection used is observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis used is a qualitative consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and summary withdrawal. Research results show: (1) context results, the GLS goals applied according to students' needs; (2) the results of the input, some student activities of extracurricular activities, starry classes, KBMS, and facilities are well - constructed and in good condition; (3) the process results: support factors among them are students, teachers, employees, parents, and an external nephew. The limiting factor in people at school is not complete; (4) the change in students since GLS is the motivation for reading students is increasing, students' journalistic presence, students' character improving by applying 5s (smile, greeting, greeting, polite, and polite).
