Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning Untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Agribisnis Ternak Ruminansia Pedaging Materi Pengobatan Penyakit Pada Siswa Kelas XII-ATR SMKN 1 Sakra

Abstract

This study aims that through the application of a problem-based learning model it can improve learning achievement of Agribusiness of Meat Ruminants, disease treatment material for class XII-ATR students of SMKN 1 Sakra in the odd semester of 2020/2021. This research procedure was carried out in two cycles, where the two cycles were interrelated, meaning that cycle two was a continuation of cycle one. Each cycle includes: 1) the planning stage, 2) the implementation stage of the action, 3) the observation / evaluation, and 4) the reflection stage. The implementation of each cycle consists of 2 meetings. In collecting data, researchers used one data collection technique, namely a subjective test of 10 items in the form of descriptions. The results of this study indicate that during the pre-cycle, the average value obtained was only 62.25, increasing by 5.50 to 67.75 in cycle I. In cycle II, the class average value became 75.75 indicating an increase of 8 , 00 from silkus I. A quite positive change also occurred in the increase in the acquisition of scores that met the predetermined KKM value limits, namely in the pre-cycle only 35.00% of students were able to reach the KKM limit (Minimum Completeness Criteria), in cycle I the percentage of students those that meet the KKM limit increase by 20.00% to 55.00%. The percentage increase continued in cycle II. In this final cycle, the percentage of students who meet the KKM score becomes 85.00%, which means an increase of 30.00% from the first cycle and by 50.00% from the pre-cycle. Thus, it means from the above data that the application of the problem based learning model in the learning of class XII-ATR SMKN 1 Sakra odd semester academic year 2020/2021 turns out to be able to improve the learning achievement of broiled ruminants agribusiness, disease treatment material.
