Penerapan dan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter di SDN Kampung Baru 1

Abstract

This paper was created to broaden our insights about the application of character education of students, this paper describes the application of the five main values of Strengthening Character Education such as (religion, nationalism, independence, mutual cooperation, and integrity) and the main values that are prioritized in schools as research targets. This research is a case study in an elementary school in SDN kembar 01. This study uses an inductive approach. The planting and application of character values has been carried out through various themes or activities. Several obstacles arise in its application and can overcome how to improve schedules, communication, coordination between parties in schools and parents, and increase character education so that in addition to 4C (Critical Thinking, Communication Skills, Creativity and Innovation, and Collaboration) it is necessary to increase 3C improvement (Communication, Coordination and Cooperation) in character education. Implementation of strengthening character education supported by the leadership of the principal, school members, and school collaboration with the community and other institutions.
