Efforts to Improve Sosial Science Learning Outcomes by Using Image Media on Family Self-Documents
Abstract
Based on the observations of researchers at Kesambi Dalam II Elementary School, teachers are still using learning media or only using blackboard media in carrying out social studies teaching and learning activities. So that in learning activities there is often a lack of understanding of students in understanding the subject matter delivered by the teacher. But on the other hand, teachers generally want their students to be successful in learning social studies. Because this success is an asset for students to get good test results or test scores. Actually, success in learning social studies is not just a value. but, apart from the value aspect, there are also other aspects that students need to achieve from learning social studies, namely psychomotor skills in life. The method used in this study uses classroom action research where the results of the study indicate that learning using image media can increase learning activities and learning outcomes in Social Sciences subjects in class II and there is an increase in learning outcomes in social science subjects using media picture.
