Application of Inquiry Type Cooperative Learning Models to Improve Student Learning Outcomes

Abstract

The results of learning and training activities in natural science in grade V SDN show the low level of student mastery of the material that has been taught. In the learning activities above, all of the above are observed carefully by researchers from the beginning to the end of learning activities, especially learning activities and student learning outcomes. It was found that almost all students are less active in the learning process, almost all students are less interested in Indonesian lessons and from the results of the evaluation test the average results are below the KKM. The research method used in this study was Classroom Action Research developed by Kemmis and Taggart Eliot. At the time the observer made observations, it showed that with the application of the inquiry training model the students' scientific attitudes had increased quite significantly. This can be seen especially at the stage of cooperation and responsibility in each group. But the least thing is that student discipline still needs special attention from the teacher with the intention that students will get used to doing things in an orderly and orderly manner with satisfactory results..
