Application of Academic Supervision with Cooperative Professional Development Model in an Effort to Change Conservative Attitudes

Abstract

Based on observations and observations carried out at MIS Raudlotut Tholibin Warugede, a problem was identified, namely the low student learning outcomes caused by the low professional ability of teachers who are often faced with various problems that can hinder their realization, including teacher conservative attitudes that are more directed at teacher efforts. maintaining the usual way from time to time in carrying out tasks, or wanting to maintain the old (conservative) way, considering that the way that is seen as new generally requires various changes in work patterns. To change the teacher's conservative attitude, school action research was carried out through the Academic Supervision of Cooperative Professional Development Model. This school action research was conducted in 2 cycles. The results of this study are evidenced by the results of the implementation of school action research conducted at MIS Raudlotut Tholibin Warugede Cirebon Regency. Prior to the research, the teacher's attitude showed a very low attitude, namely: 52.4% with an average fulfillment of the planning and implementation of learning obtaining an average value of 42.50% while the average level of achievement was 51.5%. Whereas in Cycle I reached 71.90% with an average fulfillment of the planning and implementation of learning obtaining an average value of 63.50% while the average level of achievement was 70.50%. In Cycle II, the attitude scale obtained a value of 78.30% with an average fulfillment of the planning and implementation of learning obtaining an average value of 79.0% while the average level of achievement was 84.0%.
