Abstract

he shipyard is a place designed to repair and make new ships. In the process of building the material used, the ship must have a strong, lightweight and economical structure. This needs to be considered, because it can affect the costs incurred and the time to complete the project. The majority of deck house construction in shipyards uses fresh plate construction. In this study an analysis of the production costs of using stiffened plates will be analyzed compared to the use of corrugated plates. The analysis was carried out by calculating the production costs of stiffener and corrugated plates in the construction of the deck house walls of the 1200 GT pioneer ship by calculating the total material cost and direct labor costs of the work process on the deck house wall using a fresh plate and corrugated plate. The results of the calculation of the deviation of the production cost of building the deck crew wall using corrugated plates include: calculation of cheaper material costs (27.37%), calculation of direct labor costs cheaper (82.48%) compared to the use of plates in the process of building a deck house wall (deck house) 1200 GT pioneer ship. While the calculation of the cost deviation of the production of bridge deck walls using corrugated plates includes: calculation of cheaper material costs (34.51%), calculation of direct labor costs is cheaper (76.02%) compared to the use of plates in the process of building a house wall deck house 1200 GT pioneer ship. From the research it is expected to provide an alternative for shipyards in the process of building a deck house so that it can produce more economical and more innovative production costs
