Pengaruh Variasi Tegangan Generator HHO terhadap Emisi Gas Buang Spark Ignition Engine Fi-125 CC 4 Langkah 1 Silinder

Abstract

The HHO (Hydrogen Hydrogen Oxygen) gas is a product gas from distilled water electrolysis by using an electric current. One problem that arises is the temperature rise generator upon use. The study then developed further by varying the voltage to determine the eff ect of temperature and voltage of the generator HHO. Penelitian performance is done by applying the HHO generator on Spark Ignition Engine Fuel Injection 125 cc engine. Electrolyte solution used was Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) 0.8 grams per 1 liter of distilled water. The voltage source is derived from the alternator and regulated by the electronic components to manage and rectify the electric current. Variations used is 3 Volt, 6 Volt, 9 Volt and 12 Volt. Engine testing done in full open throttle and using a water brake dynamometer. The results obtained are voltage 3 Volt produce temperature electrolytes after testing the low of 34°C. 12 Volts produces HHO gas production rate is the highest of 3.25 × 10 –6. Exhaust emissions decline occurred in CO 11.04% and HC 12.87%.
