In Jombang District the number of HIV/AIDS cases each year has increased. By 2018 there are 1300 people who have HIV/AIDS ranked second, therefore the purpose of this study is to determine the factors that infl uence people’s behavior against HIV/AIDS patients in Jabon Village Jombang District Jombang District. This research is an explanatory research, with survey method and using quantitative and qualitative approach. This type of research includes cross sectional with the number of samples of 226 people who can from the population of head of family in Jabon District Jombang. From the results of the study shows the behavior of community support menghadapi HIV/AIDS sufferers of 61.06%. The result of bivariate analysis shows that there are 1 variables related to community behavior (p = 0.0001), 3 variables that are not related to public behavior (p = 0.384), role of public fi gure and health offi cer role because homogeneous so that can not be tested statistically. Based on the above results, health workers need to involve cadres in extension activities to the community, especially to the head of the family about the way of transmission and how to handle HIV/AIDS sufferers so that stigma and discrimination against HIV/AIDS does not happen.
