Faktor yang Memengaruhi Kepuasan Pasien dalam Pelayanan Prevention Mother To Child Transmission (PMTCT) pada Wanita HIV Positif di Puskesmas Paiton Probolinggo

Abstract

Primary Health Care become basic development in country, but not all give satisfying services and quality. Patient satisfaction beissue to assest provider appearance, one of them PMTCT. In some health facilities in Indonesia, about 67% not satisfi ed. The result ofpreliminary study on PHC in Paiton shows that from 10 people get 20% say low satisfaction. The aim to analyze factors that infl uenceof patient satisfaction in PMTCT Services Among HIV-positive Women. Design using non experimental study, analytic correlation and cross sectional approach, using total sampling, get 35 HIV-positive women that married and unmarried, visit and get services in PHC as sample. The instruments using questionnaire and binary logistic regression statistical tests. The results of multivariate analysis i.e attitude( p value = 0.010; OR 29.000), the availability of health facilities (p value = 0.045; OR 18.838) < α (0.05). Factorthat infl uencing the patient satisfaction is multidimension and attitude is dominant factor have opportunity 29 times to infl uence ofpatient satisfaction. Attitude of patient infl uenced by knowledge about PMTCT previously and atitude of provider when giving services.Therefor, It is necessary to improve the quality of service continuously, especially counseling, attitude, and communication of provider.
