Efektivitas Game Quiz terhadap Pengetahuan tentang PHBS pada Siswa Kelas 4 SD

Abstract

he hygienic and health lifestyles in school are activities that are practiced by students, teachers, and surrounding societies nearby the school. It happens because of the personal awareness as the result of learning, so that it prevents disease independently. This study aimed to verifying the effect of Game Quiz toward the knowledge of hygienic and health lifestyles in SDN Carat 1 Gempol Pasuruan. This study used pre-experimental research design with One group pretest - postest design. The number of population were 43 respondents in the which taken by using simple random sampling, taken 25% of the total respondents, sample of 11 respondents. The data collection used questionnaires of hygienic and health lifestyle of school arrangement. The result from Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test revealed that p (0.003) < α (0.05), it means that Ho was rejected that there was an effect of Game Quiz toward the knowledge of hygienic and health lifestyles in school environment. Game Quiz is able to increase knowledge students about Hygienic and Health Lifestyle, because in this way is more creative and effective in remind the child cognitive abilities perfect. This method is suitable for the given and applied in school age child.
