Abstract

Maintenance of the ship is intended to keep the ship always ready to operate, to meet the revenue targets and availability of ship services. The main purpose of this research is to know the effect of ship maintenance management to revenue, service availability, and ship expenses so that it can be given recommendation related to optimal ship maintenance management, so that ship can fulfill operational target as expected by ship owner. The calculation results show that the implementation of standard ship maintenance management (preventive maintenance) on KM. AAA has an average reliability value for the year 2015-2017 in a row of 0.898, 0.957, and 0.949. As for corrective maintenance has an average reliability value of 0.966, 0.952, and 0.946. The total cost of ships for preventive maintenance is Rp 5,725,262,467, 23% greater than the total cost for corrective treatment. The gross revenues of the ship when applying the standard treatment amounted to Rp 6,152,896,289,38 greater 25% of the existing revenue, and net income of Rp 427,633,821.50, 51% greater than the existing ship’s revenue still applying corrective maintenance. As for the number of passengers who can be served is as many as 15,506 people 25% larger than the existing condition while the amount of cargo that can be transported is as much as 742 ton / m3, 25% greater than the existing condition.
