Peningkatan Usaha Rokok Kesehatan Silokarang Melalui Kegiatan Produksi dan Pemasaran
Abstract
This Community Service consists of lecture, training, and supervisory support. It is aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of people in Dadapan Village, Kabat Sub-district, Banyuwangi District of the production and marketing of herbal cigarettes “Silokarang” by means of modernization of production machine and implementation of effective marketing strategy. The producer of the herbal cigarettes has been in existence since 1922. Nowadays, the production of the herbal cigarettes is a source of the livelihood that builds the economy of Dadapan Village people. A poor quality of production machine and marketing strategy has long impeded the development of the herbal cigarettes industry. The difficulties with the production and marketing have become obstacles for Dadapan village people to maintain and grow their business of herbal cigarettes.
