Model Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Pengembangan Ekonomi Lokal (Studi pada UKM Pengrajin di Kota Malang)
Abstract
The study was conducted in 5 districts of Malang during April 2009 until mid-July 2009 and in this research in craftsman specialize in UKM as a respondent. This research was done by using analysis of descriptive analysis, with variables such as business profile, the success rate and characteristics of UKM owners, especially craftsmen in Malang, as for this sample of 40 respondents. Research results show that the economy UKM have contributed significantly to the family economy and this does not mean that UKM go smoothly, the various problems faced by too many UKM in business. The diversity of problems UKM are externally inseparable from the problems that are wrapped around our economy at the macro and still weak commitment of local governments in the development of UKM. During this program is limited to UKM development programs, without which the future sustainability can help these UKM independence.
