Wedar Hayuning Penataran Ceremony in Penataran Temple, Penataran Village, Nglegok District, Blitar Regency, East Java Province is a unique and sacred ceremony, held annually at Penataran Temple. In the process of ceremony of Wedar Hayuning Penataran  there are reasons, purpose, and the nature of the ceremony, but in reality people do not know and understand about ceremony of Wedar Hayuning Penataran. This research is a qualitative research which in collecting data, this research use observation technique, interview, literature study and documentation.From this research, the result of the ceremony of Wedar Hayuning Penataran started from the preparation of ceremonial facilities and infrastructures, matur piuning, Rakang Tawang ritual, worship of Ida Pandita and Sapta Rsi Tanah Java, pray together, Sapta Kawedar ritual, then the distribution of tirta to the community. Wedar Hayuning Penataran Ceremony This course aims to ask for salvation, peace and prosperity for people in this world. Ceremony Wedar Hayuning Penataran has functions include: (1) Religious Functions, (2) Social Economic Functions, (3) Cultural Conservation Function. The theological meaning of the ceremony of Wedar Hayuning Penataran as a form of unity between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati.
