PENERAPAN KONSEP WAHYU MEMANDU ILMU (WMI) DALAM PENGAJARAN SOSIOLOGI

Abstract

The development of multidisciplinary Islamic scholarship at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung emphasizes the integration of religious and general science in the curriculum and learning model that is carried out. The development of an integrative scientific paradigm is certainly a very large scientific project, however, it must be admitted, the success of reconstructing the new paradigm is still not enough, because it must still be supported by the availability of functional and effective methodologies. This article intends to offer a methodology for developing sociology learning based on an integrative paradigm, which is not only functional and effective, but also guarantees productivity, while being safe from the bondage of rough pseudoscientific practice and excessive practice of ideological science. The reconstruction of the methodology for developing religious-based sociology is urgently needed to be carried out considering that many sociological theories are raised by western experts who tend to be secular.
