The problem of this research was whether or not students’ cooperative skill can be improved through symbolic games. The aim of this research was to improve students’ cooperative skill through symbolic games. The type of this research was a classroom action research consisted of two cycles with three meetings in every cycle. The subject of this research was B2 group of PAUD (early childhood education program) of Haqiqi Bengkulu city with the total of 10 students. The technique of collecting the data was done by doing observation. The data analysis was conducted by using mean test. The result of this research showed that symbolic games activity can improve the students’ cooperative skill. The mean score for students’ cooperative skill was 4.435 or in good criteria. Therefore, it is recommended for the teacher that symbolic games can be applied to improve the students’ cooperative skill.
