Kehidupan manusia selalu dihadapkan pada berbagai fenomena pluralitas. Pluralitas warna kulit, pluralitas etnik, pluralitas agama, dan pluralitas bahasa. Dengan pluralitas tersebut sering menjadi pemicu terjadinya konflik. Untuk menjembatani kesenjangan tersebut, diperlukan berbagai macam akomodasi yang dapat mempertemukan perbedaan-perbedaan tersebut sehingga terjadi kesepahaman dan pengakuan akan eksistensi terhadap suatu budaya. Bentuk  interaksi Manusia dengan manusia yang lain dapat bentuk Asosiatif maupun Disosiatif. Beberapa permasalahan yang dapat menghasilkan bentuk interaksi sosial yang sifatnya asosiatif adalah, etnosentrisme, misunderstanding in value, streotip, dan prasangka.ABSTRACTThe life of human beings is always and naturally experiencing several phenomena of plurality, which may include the plurality of races, ethnics, religions and languages. Such a plurality has frequently caused or ignited any social conflict. To bridge the gaps needs accommodative efforts to find any solutions for the differences in order to mutually understand and to fully acknowledge the existence of the others. The forms of human interaction may be either associative or dissociative. Several issues, which may create a sort of associative interaction, are ethnocentrism, misunderstanding in value, stereotyping, and prejudice.
