Kontribusi Keilmuan Al-Qur’an Bagi Umat Manusia

Abstract

Muslim scientists tried to seek scientific the paradigm of Islamic studies in responding to modern science had three perspectives in view of science. First, the group that thought  that modern science was universal and neutral, and all science could be found in the Qur'an; Secondly, the group that  tried to bring science in Islamic countries; Third, the group that wanted to build a new paradigm (epistemology ) of Islam, the knowledge paradigm and the paradigm of behavior, focusing on the principles, concepts and values of Islam concerning search certain fields, and paradigms concerning search specific areas, and the paradigm of behavior decided the limits of ethic where scientists could freely work. This paradigm departed from the Qur'an instead of ending the Qur’an.
