Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Sparkol Berbantuan Edutainment pada Materi Aritmatika Sosial Kelas VII SMP/MTs

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to produce products in the form of sparkol learning media assisted by edutainment, and to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of edutainment-assisted sparkol media. This type of research is Research and Development (R & D) with meode Borg and Gall which consists of 8 out of 10 stages which have been modified by Sugiyono which include Potential and Problems, Collecting Data, Product Design, Design Validation, Design Revision, Product Testing, Product Revision, and Usage Test. The data collection technique used was the non-test technique with the type of questionnaire (questionnaire). Validation is carried out by material experts and media experts. This study resulted in a sparkol learning media assisted by edutainment in social arithmetic material that had been declared suitable for use as a medium of mathematics learning. Based on the results of the material expert validation, the average score of 3.74 was obtained and media experts obtained an average score of 3.47, so the product developed was declared valid for use. In the trial the students obtained an average score of 90% (very interesting) so that it can be concluded that sparkol learning media assisted by edutainment in social arithmetic material is worthy of being used as a learning media and effective in terms of student learning outcomes.
