NILAI-NILAI KEISLAMAN DALAM KEBUDAYAAN MELAYU (STUDI KARYA TENGKU LUCKMAN SINAR)
Abstract
Culture is closely related to society. Culture is a complex whole within which it contains knowledge, belief, art, morals, laws, customs that can affect the level of knowledge society. Culture in society that has become pillar of national culture of Indonesia is Malay culture. Malay culture thrives and rooted in the middle of Islamic society of Indonesia. Malay culture contains various Islamic values reflected in the life of the Malays in the past. Over time, many changes occurred in the life of the Malays who had an impact on the decline of Islamic values in Malay culture. Change is common in a life. However, do not let the changes make someone lose his identity especially if he is a Malay. For this reason, Tengku Lukman Sinar who is a prominent Malay figure and personality attended to defend Malay culture from various changes that happened especially to introduce to the society about the true Malay identity that a Malay is Muslim and in Malay-speaking and Malay cultured communication.
