The concepts ofTakfir are generally refer to Alquran and prophetic traditions. This concept  of Takfir has graduations and levels as well as the faith. According to Salaf and Khalaf the criteria of Takfir should be taken from Alquran, sunah, ijma’and i’tibar. (2) The factors influent the differences of the concept  and its division are different understanding.  It causes different definitions then enrises terms such as Takfir mutlaq and Takfir muayyan, Takfir mutlaq and Takfir muqayyad,  and also al-kufr al-asgar and al-kufr al-akbar due Salaf’s thought.In otherside Khalaf were not explaining them, eventhoughal-Qardhawiy used them in his writing. (3)The factors influent the differences creteria of takfir found in several items. According to Salaf, nifaq and tajsim understanding and also trespassing lafziy in Alquran and prophetic traditions became causes of Takfir, on the other hand according to Khalaf, they are unbelieving syahadat Allah, messengers and rejecting his laws, unbelieving to the mutawatir principle of faith and religion. Salaf uses textual unsderstandings and Khalaf uses contextual one.Then, then the consequences of Takfir generally are suitable among  Salaf and Khalaf where are back to Alquran. Doingal-kufr al-akbar  caused blood allowance and goods as well as done by justice decision and disgracing in the life in this world and should be consigned to the heavy punishment in the hereafter.
