Kefektifan Konseling Rasional Emotif Perilaku Untuk Meningkatkan Konsep Diri Siswa

Abstract

This study aim to test the effectiveness of counseling Rational Emotive Behavior to improve self-concept of student's vocational high school students. The study design was experimental with pretest-posttest control group design design. The data analysis techniques used Two Independent Sample Test Mann Whitney U and Welcoxon Menched signed Test in this study. The result analysis of data used Welcoxon Signed is known to experiment group of probabilitical value 0.009 <0.05 and control group has the same level of significance 0.009 <0.05, which mean either experimental group or control group are equally effective in improving self-concept of student's vocational high school. Furthermore, the result of the analysis used Two Independent Sample Test Mann Whitney U seen from the mean value of Posttest in experimental group 5.00 is greater than the control group of 5.00, it can be deduced that Rational Counseling Emotive Behavior is more effective to improve self-concept of high school students.
