Ia</em><em> </em><em>berargumen bahwa </em><em>kompleksitas masyarakat di abad sekarang ini menuntut adanya ijitihad bersama. Karena ijtihad bersama pembahasannya lebih komprehensif dan representatif. Alasan inilah yang membuat al-Zuḥailī menyuarakan adanya pembaharuan dalam hukum</em><em>.</em><em> Tujuan dari adanya pembaharuan hukum Islam </em><em>bagi al-Zuḥailī adalah </em><em>untuk membuktikan sifat fleksibilitas syari'at Islam dalam bidang mu'amalah yang tidak bertentangan dengan nas-nas syar'i.</em></p><p> </p><p><strong>Kata Kunci</strong>: <em>Wabhah al-Zuḥailī</em>, <em>hukum Islam, pembaruan, istinbāṭ hukum</em></p><p> </p><p align="center"><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p> </p><p><em>Wabhah al-Zuḥailī </em><em>is one of contemporary Muslim intelectuals who emphesizes the openness of the door of ijtihad</em><em> in Islamic law. He </em><em>argues that </em><em>the complexity of society in the present century demands a collective ijtihad. Because </em><em>collective ijtihad </em><em>proposes more comprehensive discussion and representative. The reason is what makes al-Zuḥailī voiced tajdid (renewal) in </em><em>Islamic law.
