Abstract

An educational reform efforts can be focused well when based on the basicframework of the philosophy and theory of a solid education. There are some indicators asIslamic educational reform efforts, namely: (a) the educational setting; (b) Environmentaleducation; (c) Characteristics of renewal; and (d) The curriculum is presented in accordancewith the characteristics of the destination. In addition, educational reform efforts were alsomade to establish the Islamic education system is really able to empower the people;beginning of the empowerment of educators (teachers or lecturers), the student or students,graduates (Alumni), then the effect on the empowerment of communities and countries.Comprehensive and sustainable empowerment that is the main provision in Islamiccivilization achieve greatness.
