Mengembalikan Jiwa Humanisasi Pendidikan: Mengenal Profil Kognitif Anak Autis Dalam Persepsi Spasial Geometri 3 Dimensi Berdasarkan Level Van Hiele
Abstract
In order appreciation of the competence of children, psychologists have started to make a significant correlation with brain mechanisms. And the study of all space-an (spatial) have an important role. Furthermore, the structure of the brain to translate a wake is called spatial perception. Meanwhile, children with special cognitive traits such as autistic children to the attention of researchers in view of significant developments such as children's education is not normal (non-autistic). Spatial perception correlated with levels van Hiele, but the formation of the image of a geometric shape seems to require a different ability which will then be shown based on the performance of the child. On the results of the study showed that children with autism have a weakness in focus so it is not easy to immediately be able to perceive a shape. However, because the curriculum does not support the material to be tested while they were on the visualization level (level 0) and did not differ significantly with the level of normal children. Based on the findings, the hard work of educators is to train the focus, learning instruction levels van Hiele and stimulant varied geometric objects.
