KREATIFITAS MEMBACA PADA ANAK YANG MENGALAMI KESULITAN BELAJAR MELALUI PENGENALAN BUDAYA LOKAL BETAWI

Abstract

Children have differences in intelegent, talent, interest, creativity, emotional, personality, and social aspects. Children who are not mature should get intervention and attention from their parents and their teachers especially diffiulties in studying reading. They need special creativity not only form theirself but also from their teachers and their parents. It makes the writer interest to do research to overcome this problem. This research appplied qualitative method by using obsevation and interview. The subject of this reasecrh was students of SDIT Muftahul Umum in first and second grade, Jln. Gandul Cinere, Limo Subdistrict, Depok West Java.  The result of the research were : (1) Students can not understand what the teacher explained such as learning stimulus and learning practicing.; (2) They did not involve in teaching and learning process and tend to draw in their table, unself confidence, and depend on teachers and parents in doing assignment; (3) After explaining the material using pictures, they are interest to know and to learn; (4) they used puzzle from paper, pictures, music instrument, sing Betawi song, ect;; (5) they were asked to conclude what they have seen from media, and they told again to their friends or they can sing Betawi song.; (6) After they knew Betawi culture, the teacher practice many kind of Betawi’s playing excisted in picture by giving simulation in SDIT Muftahul Umum; (7) The method of introducing Betawi culture can improve; (8) Through Betawi culture can improve creativity of the students so that they can stimulate to read media interestingly.
