SPIRITUAL ISLAM SUNDA DALAM TRADISI HAJAT SOLOKAN

Abstract

This article is the ethnographic notes on leutik Hajat Solokan, a ritual ceremony of farmers in Babakan Dago, Rancakalong district, Sumedang West Jawa. This ceremony reflects wisdom values, such as protecting and maintaining ecological systems which supports their main jobs, cultivating rice fields. This article provides empirical evidence about culture system which packing religious values in order to make it sturdy and stay longer. The writer also found acculturation among some religious values, Hinduism, Chinese, and Islam.
