PESANTREN, ULAMA, DAN PEMBENTUKAN TRADISI ISLAM INDONESIA
Abstract
This article shows the Islamisation process in Indonesia using two theories, Arab and India. In discussing this point there should be a differentiation between the first and the second theory. The first theory is represented by the real first relation between Indonesia Islam. Meanwhile the second theory shows the growing of some Islamic kingdoms. The style of Islam spreading process is evolutionary as it could penetrate far beyond to Muslims consciousness.
