SISTEM KEYAKINAN DAN AJARAN ISLAM ABOGE
Abstract
This article discusses and analyzes the belief systems of Aboge Islamic community. In Java, Islam has a unique variant. It is correlated with how Islam spreads and process its acculturation with existed Javanese culture. To examine the belief systems and practices of this ritual, the data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. This article suggests that religious teachings and beliefs of the Aboge Javanese Muslim Community are taught for generations. Aboge adherents say that the core of their teachings are believed to refer to the Qur'an and Hadith.
