FORMULASI PENDEKATAN SOSIOLOGIS DALAM PENGEMBANGAN ILMU KEISLAMAN
Abstract
This research discusses the relationship between syariah and tasawuf.The researcher argues that the integration between syariah and tasawuf as theimplementation constitutes a necessity to improve of inner consciousness. Basedon critical studies of elements of syariah and tasawuf, the research concludes thatsyariah and Sunni amali have strong relationship, and cannot be separated. Theimplementation of both is part of iman. Syariah represents the outer experienceand tasawuf represent the inner experience. That conclusion is different fromwhat is said by, for example Ahmad Amin, that fiqh clerics is jurist that based onhis thought of outer conducts, and Sufi is esoteric expert that based on histhought of spiritual considerations
