PENGGUNAAN BAMBU HITUNG DALAM MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA TENTANG PERKALIAN BILANGAN BULAT KELAS IV

Abstract

Abstract: In general that the students' views on the subject matter of mathematics as a frightening specter and boring. It can be proved that the student’s mathematics test results than other subjects is much lower. One of reasons is the teachers have no ability to convey the subject matter by using media or a fun props. So it is necessary to create a learning innovation that aims to facilitate in increasing the student’s learning activity outcomes of integer multiplication in grade IV by using bamboo media count in SDN 3 Tambak, Tambak District of Gresik. This research method is descriptive qualitative, quantitative and mediating. The result of this study is student’s activity increase about 12% in the first cycle and 71% to 83% in the second cycle. By using this methode, the student’s learning outcomes increase 20% in the first cycle and 65% to 85% in the second cycle. The conclusion, that is based on the results of the final act of the second cycle’s count show, is a fact that the use of bamboo can increase the student’s activity and learning outcomes in multiplying integers fourth grade students of SDN 3 Tambak Tambak District of Gresik in 2016. Keywords: Bamboo count, activities and learning outcomes, Integer
