Abstract The world is entering a new phase now. Modernization has ended and we have to think in a new way, because the old way does not work anymore. Putting it another way, we have made a big pragmatic change that we ourselves are not aware of it. The blend between transmission technology and computer has produced an era, that is, the era of information technology. In addition, in the world of education, information technology is a connecting tool that connects various parts of educational institution so that the institution becomes a comprehensive unit. Educational institution is badly in need of information technology in order to the activities of education turn to be modern and progressing. Abstrak Dunia sedang memasuki fase baru sekarang. Modernisasi telah berakhir dan kita harus berpikir dengan cara baru, karena cara lama tidak bekerja lagi. Cara lain, kita telah membuat perubahan pragmatis besar yang kita sendiri tidak menyadari hal itu. Perpaduan antara teknologi transmisi dan komputer telah menghasilkan sebuah era, yaitu era teknologi informasi. Selain itu, di dunia pendidikan, teknologi informasi adalah alat penghubung yang menghubungkan berbagai bagian dari lembaga pendidikan sehingga lembaga tersebut menjadi sebuah unit yang komprehensif. lembaga pendidikan ini sangat perlu teknologi informasi untuk melakukan kegiatannya.
