PENGARUH KEGIATAN KELOMPOK BELAJAR TERHADAP PENINGKATAN MUTU BELAJAR SISWA (Studi Eksperimen pada SMA Negeri 13 Padang)

Abstract

The low of quality of students’ learn skill affect for the low of quality of students’ learn of Senior High School at Padang. So, to solve the problem, it is needed a service alternative which can be improved the students’ learn skill, that is the activity of learn group. The aim of this research is to describe the differences among quality of students’ learn skill before and after they do the learn group. The hypothesis of this research is “Activity of Learn Group effectively to Improve Quality of Students’ Learn Skill”. This research is quantitative method with research design of true-experiment. The subject of this research is students of grade XI IA1 at SMA Negeri 13 Kota Padang as an experiment group and students of grade XI IA1 at SMA Negeri 8 as a control group. It is taken through procedure of operation of difference of subject based on second procedure that is random equivalent. The instrument used for the determination of equivalence of control and experiment groups is the standard intelligence test of progressive matrices, while for the pretest of and of posttest use Appliance Express the Problem of Attitude and Habit Learn (AUM PTSDL). The technique of analyzed data use statistic of parametric, to test the both hypothesizes are used paired sample T test and while for third hypothesis is used technique of independent sample T test constructively of SPSS program version 16.0. The result of data analysis indicate that activity of group learn effectively could be increased quality of students’ learn skill. So, suggested to Counselor go to school to continue to cope to improve amount and quality activity of group learn at school in program service of BK at school, because owning big benefit to student.
