KATA FATIS PENANDA KETIDAKSANTUNAN PRAGMATIK DALAM RANAH KELUARGA
Abstract
One of the pragmatic markers, which shows languageimpoliteness, is classified in phatic category. This researchaims to analyze the phatic discourse particles serving aspragmatic markers of impoliteness. Therefore, the data inthis research are the utterances containing phatic discoursemarkers showing linguistic impoliteness taken from thefamily of farmers, traders, fishermen, teachers, andnoblemen. The data were gathered by employing thelistening and speaking methods. The data gatheringtechniques are the recording and transcribing. The data areclassified and analyzed using contextual method. Thisresearch indicates that there are 11 categories of phaticdiscourse markers showing pragmatic impoliteness. Theyare phatic markers of “kok”, “ah”, “hayo”, “mbok”, “lha”,“tak”, “huu”, “iih”, “woo”, “hei”, and “halah”. Every phaticcategory conveys a specific intention which is different fromother phatic discourse markers.
