KEPEMIMPINAN EFEKTIF KEPALA MADRASAH PADA BADAN PELAKSANA PENDIDIKAN (BPP) MA’ARIF NU RAUDLATUL MU’ALLIMIN WEDUNG DEMAK (STUDI KASUS DI MTs NU DAN MA NU RAUDLATUL MU’ALLIMIN WEDUNG DEMAK)

Abstract

The effectiveness of madrasa in achieving madrasa’s achievement is still low. Some things that are still emerging and did not represent the spirit of change such as in the decision-making process that less of involving all of madrasa citizens but simply just follow the will of the leader. To improve quality within an organization or madrasa is largely determined by the quality of leadership and effective management. The purpose of this study is to know the quality of MTs and MA NU Raudlatul Mu'allimin Wedung principals from 1) effective leadership type; 2) decision-making; 3) supervision; 4) the success of leadership. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques were interviews, observation, and documents. The results of this study showed that the principal of MTs and MA NU Raudlatul Mu'allimin Wedung 1) using a democratic leadership type 2) Decision making use the principle of consensus 3) Monitoring did daily in working hours by checking the attendance of teachers and students, motivating and coaching 4) The most prominent success of the leadership a) build a network b) maintain communication c) increased public confidence d) increased student achievement
