PENERAPAN KONSEP PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS KECERDASAN MAJEMUK (MULTIPLE INTELLIGENCES) PADA ANAK USIA DINI

Abstract

Early childhood education is the basic education for children. In this step, parents should absolutely consider their children’s education including determining the education institution for their children. Teachers who have important role at school are supposed to be able to recognize their students’ ability because every child has different intelligences from one another. Parents as well as teachers should identify their children’s intelligence in order to make their children’s intelligence maximally developed. Nowadays, there is a judgement that intelligence is measured from the high achievement in mathematics and science. On the other hand, in fact, there are many successful people that can survive in their life without having high achievement in mathematics and science. They can survive to reach their goals by using another intelligence aspects. Therefore, it can be concluded that the measurement of children’s intelligence must not be based on  their mathematics and science ability only, but it should be also referred to another aspects of intelligence which is usually called as multiple intelligence.
