MODEL INTEGRASI SAINS DAN AGAMA DALAM KURIKULUM 2013 Di TINGKAT DASAR

Abstract

Religious education in primary schools has only been used as a complement of learning process. Government attention and commitment in developing religious education is still limited to the obligations on the existing legislation. The thematic and introgative theme in curriculum 2013 provides new hope in religious education teaching to be paired with other lessons in the learning process. The existence of curriculum 2013 is caused by the existence of deviant behavior among students ranging from moral decline and the loss of students’ moral. New breakthroughs in curriculum 2013 are expected to answer various social issues in education. This paper tried to reveal integration model of religion with science in new curriculum found in subjects unification. It is through the integration of basic competencies into a theme related to nature and environment in daily life. This subject material integration into several theme is expected to make students have holistic understanding on the material; not partial understanding.
