The background of the research is that there is no clear legal review or jurisprudence regarding the repetition of the marriage contract, making researchers interested in analyzing the problems of remarriage located in the Al Huda Islamic Boarding School and also the analysis of Islamic law governing these problems. This research uses a qualitative field method (field research). Where, researchers use actors as primary sources in the study, namely the caretaker of the Al Huda Islamic Boarding School, married couples who carry out the remarriage process, as well as employees of the Religious Affairs Office as a stakeholder from the government. Researchers use reference books and previous studies that have similarities as secondary sources in the study. Data is obtained by means of interviews and observations. This research data analysis starts from data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research are: 1) the background of the repetition of the marriage contract is because it is a form of prudence in maintaining the relationship before the walimatul ursy; 2) the marriage contract process at the Al Huda Islamic Boarding School is carried out in accordance with Islamic law so that the background of the repetition of the marriage contract is a form of prudence in maintaining the law and relationship before the official marriage contract in the walimatul ursy and is a form of khidmah at the Al Huda Islamic Boarding School; 3) according to the perspective of Islamic law, the repetition of the marriage contract is permissible because the practice of repeating the marriage contract includes Urf Shahih.
