The journey of elections and local elections from day to day is not far from the practice of money politics, but it is increasingly evident and blatant. Some argue that money politics occurs because of the actions of the candidates, while the candidates say that the community is not the ones who make money. candidates, while the candidates say that people are reluctant to vote as long as they are not given money. A community social movement through local wisdom is needed to local wisdom to stop or reduce the practice of money politics, especially women-based. Research Objective This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the community movement through women-based local wisdom in preventing women-based local wisdom in preventing money politics in elections in Pati Regency, Central Java. The approach taken is a qualitative approach using descriptive method. The conclusion of this research is that the social movement of the community through women-based local wisdom can prevent money politics. The involvement of all elements of of society is very important, especially through social work and volunteerism.
