Sandwich generation refers to people who have multiple roles and have responsibilities to parents and family members (dependent children) who still live together under one roof. In this context, mu'asyaroh bil ma'ruf can be applied in the form of good guidance and direction to married couples so that they can form a sakinah family. The purpose of this research is to find out the family conditions of sandwich generation married couples in Tanjungharjo Village, and to implement mu'asyaroh bil ma'ruf on sandwich generation married couples in forming a sakinah family. This type of research is field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interview, and documentation. It can be concluded that: first, the family condition of the sandwich generation married couple is very mediocre or in a middle class or lower middle class economic situation because they have to meet the living needs of all family members; second, the implementation of mu'asyarah bil ma'ruf in sandwich generation couples requires extra effort and awareness of the unique challenges faced. By applying the principles of mu'asyarah bil ma'ruf consistently, adjusted to the conditions as a sandwich generation, couples can overcome the challenges and form a sakinah family. The main keys are good communication, mutual support, flexibility in roles, and strengthening spiritual aspects as the foundation of the family.
