Abstract
Piracy carried out using digital technology is commonplace. This happens because of the lack of awareness of perpetrators to make good use of digital technology. With the rapid development of technology, it is increasingly easier for perpetrators to commit piracy. Piracy that utilizes digital media usually takes the form of certain sites or websites that provide plagiarized works. One type of piracy that often occurs amidst the development of the digital world is piracy of electronic books or e-books. Book piracy in Indonesia is very common. Piracy starts with part or even all of the contents of the book. People increasingly think that using pirated books is not a problem as long as they get cheaper prices.
