Abstract:One of the habits that often occurs in society is a penchant for following trends or opinions that are lived and applied in the main groups or what is called conformity. Psychologically this can happen on the basis of the individual's desire to be accepted in social groups and avoid reproach. It is not surprising that the post-truth phenomenon is easy to develop in society, on the basis of conformity itself which is a socialization process. A number of cases in Indonesian beliefs tell that hoaxes and hate speech may be a tool for inter-religious and denominational to attack each other. These attacks on each other will have an impact on the attitude of superiority or truth claims. So the key for followers of Christ in facing this post-truth era is one of them with the courage to break free from the confines of conformity (avoiding reproach). Following Christ means daring to be completely different from others, to be salt and light to others. So that through the Fruit of our faith in Christ, in the end others will recognize the truth that is in God in Jesus Christ through the actions of his people. In this case, proving the truth through deeds can demonstrate to the public that Jesus is actually the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6). Keywords:post-truth, conformity, the uniqueness of christianity Abstrak:Salah satu kebiasaan yang seringkali terjadi di masyarakat adalah kegemaran untuk mengikuti trend atau opini yang dihidupi dan berlaku dalam kelompok-kelompok mayoritas atau yang biasa disebut dengan konformitas. Secara psikologi hal tersebut boleh terjadi atas dasar keinginan individu untuk diterima dalam kelompok sosial dan menghindari celaan. Tidak mengherankan bila fenomena post-truth mudah berkembang dalam masyarakat, atas dasar konformitas itu sendiri yang merupakan proses sosialisasi. Sejumlah kasus pada konteks Indonesia memperlihatkan bahwa hoax, dan hate speech berpotensi menjadi alat bagi kepercayaan antar agama maupun denomisasi untuk saling menyerang. Kegiatan saling menyerang tersebut akan berdampak kemudian pada sikap superioritas atau truth claim. Maka kunci bagi pengikut Kristus dalam menghadapi era post-truth ini adalah salah satunya dengan keberanian untuk melepaskan diri dari kungkungan konformitas (menghindari celaan). Mengikut Kristus berarti berani menjadi sama sekali berbeda dengan lain, menjadi garam dan terang bagi sesama. Sehingga melalui Buah dari iman kita kepada Kristus, pada akhirnya orang lain akan mengakui kebenaran yang ada pada Allah di dalam Yesus Kristus melalui perbuatan umatnya. Dalam hal ini, membuktikan kebenaran melalui perbuatan dapat mendemonstrasikan kepada khalayak ramai bahwa sesungguhnya Yesus adalah Jalan, dan Kebenaran, dan Hidup (Yoh.14:6).  Kata Kunci: post-truth, konformitas, the uniqueness of christianity
