Langkat Islamic Kingdom : Influence on the development of Islam in various aspects
Abstract
This study explains about the History of Islam in Indonesia. The focus in this study is on the history of entry, development and dynamics that occurred in Islamic kingdoms that once existed in Indonesia. The discussion will begin with theories about the entry of Islam and the process of Islamization that occurred in Indonesia. The kingdom that is the focus of this study is the Kingdom in North Sumatra, namely the Kingdom of Langkat. In addition to the history of its establishment and development, this study will also explain various dynamics that developed during the establishment of the Kingdom of Langkat such as religious, socio-cultural, economic and political aspects. In conclusion, it was found that the Kingdom of Langkat when it was in power was very influential on the growth and development of Islam in its territory.
