Communication is the most basic activity carried out by humans. with communication humans can relate to each other every day in various activities. This article describes the role of communication in education management with a description of the focus on communication patterns in higher education institutions. This article uses the library research method. Library research involves collecting data and information from various library sources, such as reference books, articles, notes, and various journals related to the problem under study. The results showed that the role of communication in education management is a source of educational information, control and coordination, planning and achieving goals, increasing motivation.
