Abstract
The theme of gender through an Islamic approach which contains relevan arguments related to the dual role of women both domestically and publicly has been widely discussed. Women and men are the same (linear) in humanity, there is no privilege for one over the other both in essence and in position. God created women with the same spirit that men have. In social life, the Qur'an has explained the outline between women and men in a balanced way, both rights and obligations. In Islam, women in the household are freed from the obligation to provide for their families or bear other necessities of life. Because all the necessities of life become the husband's obligation. Likewise, Islam does not prohibit a woman from earning a living if it is in accordance with Islamic law.
