Upaya Guru Mata Pelajaran Fiqih Dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Peserta Didik Di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Babul Khaer Kalumeme

Abstract

This study aims to describe the efforts of teachers of fiqh subjects in improving student learning achievement at MTs Babul Khaer Kalumeme. This research is a qualitative research, using a descriptive research approach. The data in this study were obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. After the data was obtained, the data was analyzed using three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification or drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there are five teacher efforts to improve learning achievement, namely (1) increasing teacher competence (2) providing motivation (3) providing relaxed learning (4) providing training and (5) providing rewards. Then the inhibiting factors for the teacher in improving achievement are (1) difficulty using learning media (2) students who are not serious about learning (3) methods that do not vary. The conclusion from this study is that efforts to increase teacher learning achievement have been successful, but there are still obstacles that come from the teacher himself and from students.
