Pengaruh Upah Minimum, Pengangguran Terbuka dan Bantuan Sosial Terhadap Kemiskinan Di Sumatera Utara (Data Panel)

Abstract

This study analyzed the effect of district/city minimum wages, open unemployment, and social assistance spending on the number of poor people in six regencies/cities in North Sumatra Province. This study used secondary data from 2013 to 2019 using the panel data method with the help of E-views 10. The model chosen was the Fixed Effect Model. The results showed that partially (t-test) regencies/cities minimum wage and social assistance expenditure had a negative and significant effect on the number of poor people, while open unemployment had a positive and significant effect on the number of poor people in six regencies/cities in the province. North Sumatra. The researcher hopes that the government will emphasize the determination of the minimum wage and for companies to implement a minimum wage system. Then, the researcher hopes that the distribution of social assistance funds is channeled on target, and to the people who receive the assistance, it is hoped that they can make the best use of it, not only for consumptive needs.
